I have not posted in awhile, so this will be a longer blog than usual.
LONDON:
I will explain London as both the best and worst trip ever. I say the best because i had a fabolous time traveling among the streets of London, getting my nose pierced in Camden, and meeting the cuttest guy ever. :) hehe (that last comment was mostly for you, Dori)
However the traveling part was quite a nightmare. Without going into detail i will summarize this part of the trip by saying 3 1/2 hour delay, no cell phone service, exiting the last train of the night too early, lost at 1 am (upon arriving in London) , shaddy taxi ride (seriously thought i was going to die) , argument with airport attendent on returning flight, the realization that my camera, and phone are gone, getting stopped by security (becasue i look like a terrorist) , and then almost missing my plane, but did not thanks to my out of shape sprinting skills that left me with a splintering headache and completely out of breath. So overall i must say that i am alive and breathing so i really can't complain, but the loss of my camera, with all of my London pictures, was quite a blow to the face. So i am sorry to report that this blog will have no picutures of the spectacular Big Ben, the beautiful Westminister Abby, the amazing Kat and Jenae posing amongst the Queen's roses, the Palace with it's guards and incredible arctitecture, the tower bridge, the burma protest, the underground tube, the double decker bus, the Marry Poppins park, cool chimneys on the rooftops, and my favorite was the surprise trip to Danny's work. He took us to the executive floor of the building in which he works. Besides stealing the most amazing english tea, I was shocked when he lead us into a room with a view that overlooked the entire city. Breathtaking does not even begin to explain this moment. It was beautiful. Even the pictures do not capture the beauty that radiates from this vibrant city at night.
This trip was quite an expereince. It was a reminder of how challenging things can be, especially when you are traveling on your own. There are many lessons that have surfaced from this adventure, though valuable, i am still tring to understand their message.
*Oh and my rooomate took this picture before i left so i thought it would be great to post....My one and only picture from England.

MONACO:
We took a wonderful day trip to Monaco and had a fabolous time. Monaco is a country inside of France. It's incredibly small but magnificently beautifull. It is on the coast and not only has an incredible harbor, but is home to the famous Monte Carlo Casino. Besides having its own prince, Monaco is known to Americans for the marrige between the former prince and Grace Kelly ( a famous Amercain actress in the 50's )
We spent most of the day appreciating its beauty because when there are Bently's and yaughts all over the place you know you wont spending much money especially when a bottle of water comes out to about 10 dollars. As my friend phillip stated "It's like Beverly Hills but that much better". The pictures below show the amaing coastline and harbor as well as the view from the Palace.

GORGES DU VERDON, MOUSTIERS-STE-MARIE & LAVENDER FIELDS
Yesterday we had an all day excursion that made me realize how truly beautiful the south of France is. Here are some pictures i hope you enjoy them.

RUGBY
LAst night was a night of history for the French Rugby team. They defeated New Zealand (who is the best team in Rugby) It was a total upset and the French celebrated for hours. We videotaped it, but it was insane!!! People were lighting fire crackers, signing, running down the streets. There were SOO many people everywhere!!! It was 4am and believe me i could still hear people! Here is a picture during the game. Just to give you an idea. well 1t semester starts tomorrow so school should be quite intense. Wish me luck...and don't forgett to email me i love hearing from everyone!
